Welcome! Thank you for choosing Faribault Lutheran School.

Here is the enrollment process, for new students: 

Step 1: We welcome you to visit FLS in one or more of three ways:
  1.  Attend an OPEN HOUSE. At an open house, current FLS students will guide you, and your student, on a full campus tour. During the tour, you will be able to meet our current staff, ask questions, and become more comfortable with our campus.                     
  2. Schedule a personal TOUR. Call or email the school to schedule a tour at a time that is convenient for you at 507-334-7982. If requesting by email, please contact our administrator at administrator@flsweb.org.
  3. Schedule a time for your student to SHADOW another student. We welcome elementary and middle school students (Grades 1 and up) to spend part of a school day at FLS. Step 2: Complete and Submit an Enrollment Application

Enrollment for all families is now online through TADS. Details and enrollment links will be available on February 13th.

Children entering kindergarten must be 5 years old by September 1st, 2024. However, if your child has an early September birthday, please call the school to set up an appointment for an assessment to determine if your child is ready for kindergarten. 

2024-2025 Tuition and Fees

Full Tuition Rate:  $3,900

Peace or Trinity Lutheran Church Member Rate: $3,600

Discounts:

5% discount if tuition is paid in full by August 15th

2nd Child Discount: $250

3rd Child Discount and thereafter: $1,100

Additional Fees

Registration fee per child (if received before March 15th): $100/child/year

Late Registration fee per child (if received after March 15th): $250/child/year

Technology fee: $50/child/year

Volunteer Fee: $100/family/year (refundable/can be applied to next year’s tuition up to the $100 if 10 hours of volunteer service are worked) Download volunteer information here.

Registration fees assist in covering classroom field trips, parties, and other supplies. Technology fees help cover technology like chrome books, clever touches, online learning access, and other educational software.

A 10 month payment plan is available.

Tuition assistance and scholarships are available. TADS tuition assistance forms must be completed by April 10th.  Payment details and contracts will be sent out by May 15th.

TADS TUITION ASSISTANCE INFORMATION

Throughout the years, FLS has been blessed by the provision of funds from Peace Lutheran and Trinity Lutheran Congregations, community support, fundraising, and interest earned from financial assets. These financial blessings allow FLS to keep its tuition set at less than half of the actual per-student cost.
