My name is Jennifer Jarocki.
I love teaching first grade! The excitement and love for school this age group brings
into the classroom is amazing. Every day I am blessed to be able to share God’s love
and God’s Word with each and every one of my students. I love teaching reading to
my first graders. They are so excited to start this new journey of reading books, and
I love that I get to take the journey with them! I love seeing the progress as we go
through the school year. It is such an amazing experience with each student.
My favorite experience in first grade is having 8 th grade partners come into our
classroom. They create art projects with the first graders and read with them every
week. This time together builds bonds of respect and community for our entire
school. The kids look forward to this time every week! When I am not at school, I
love spending time with my kids and watching all the things they love to do. I am a
sports fan and try to take in games whenever possible. My favorite place to be is at
the lake cabin in the summer with a good book.
My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 46:5, “God is with her, she will not fall.” It is a
constant reminder to me that whatever I am doing, big or small, God is with me. It is
reassuring to know my path in life is led by God.
