FLS is trying something new this year with a split start to our school year.
The upper grades will have the opportunity to focus on a retreat-style start where behavior and discipline expectations are covered, they deepen their faith in the Lord, learn about volunteering within the school and more, by starting on August 30th.
Parents of students in grades 5-8 will receive a letter from Principal Saehler about this new start, and why our teachers felt it was needed to ensure our junior high students got off to a great start, centered in Christ. Be on the lookout for additional details if you have a student in grades 5-8.
Grades K-4 will start on August 31st, and will join grades 5-8 for our opening, combined chapel.
We know this isn’t always ideal for every family, but hope that this helps strengthen the foundation of Christ in our students’ lives and the FLS community as a whole.
