My name is Diana Kitzman.
My Elementary Education B.A. degree from Gustavus Adolphus College led me to a Lutheran elementary school in N. Hollywood, California before my husband brought me to Faribault and FLS.
This is my 30th year teaching in Lutheran schools, but my first year with a class of solely fourth graders! I especially love teaching children at this grade level because of their excitement and enthusiasm for learning and their willingness to take on the challenges this grade and their age presents. They are beginning to become independent, but still appreciate adult guidance. Their insight into God’s word and what Jesus has done for them as their Savior enlightens me daily. To be allowed to help them grow in faith is a blessing and honor.
My husband Chris and I have lived in Faribault for 28 years. We have two boys; one at Colorado State University and the other at Washington University in St. Louis. The best dog in the world, Mazely, also lives at our house.
Favorite bible verse: May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in you. Psalm 33:22
