National Lutheran Schools Week

National Lutheran Schools Week is a chance for LCMS schools to celebrate and proclaim God’s work among us in Lutheran Schools across the U.S.

The 2023 week is scheduled for January 22-28, 2023, and is themed “Making Disciples for Life” – Matthew 28: 18-20.

Our school celebrates with a variety of themed days and celebrations throughout the week.

FLS Gala

The FLS Gala is a special event held annually in the spring to raise funds dedicated to specific capital projects at FLS. The first gala provided funds for a new security system at the school and the second gala provided funds for new curtains and stage lighting for the performing arts area.

Back to School BBQ

At the beginning of the school year, FLS hosts a back-to-school BBQ to celebrate the beginning of the new school year.

PTO Events

The PTO also hosts several additional events for students including:

FLS Christmas Extravaganza

Held in early December, this event features crafts, music, a hot chocolate bar, and cookie decorating!

FLS Glow Dance

Held as a kick-off to Spring Break, this event is a fun evening of dancing with a neon glow!

FLS Carnival

Held in May, this event features a variety of carnival games, prizes, bounce houses, and food.
