5% discount if tuition is paid in full by August 15th
2nd Child Discount: $250
3rd Child Discount and thereafter: $1,100
Additional Fees
Registration fee per child (if received before March 15th): $100/child/year *a portion of the registration fee goes directly to your child’s classroom for parties, field trips, supplies and more.
Late Registration fee per child (if received after March 15th): $300/child/year
Technology fee: $75/child/year *this fee helps cover costs of online components of curriculum,
Volunteer Fee: $100/family/year (refundable/can be applied to next year’s tuition up to the $100 if 10 hours of volunteer service are worked) Download volunteer information here.
The Board of Directors strives to keep tuition costs reasonable while keeping expenditures aligned to ensure the financial stability and future of FLS. We believe that your tuition payments are a strong investment in your child’s education and their Christian foundation. FLS is committed to providing your children an education and environment where they can grow to their full potential, strengthen their faith, thrive academically, and know that God truly loves them.
Thanks to the generous blessings of our two partner churches, Peace Lutheran Church and Trinity Lutheran Church, FLS families only pay a portion of true tuition costs for providing a Christ-centered education for their student(s). We recognize the strong investment that our two partner churches have made in the mission of education.
Are you looking for financial assistance? FLS has options through TADS – a system that factors in a variety of items to determine financial need. You must fill out an application through TADS during your enrollment process. Additional information is sent out after registration for how to apply for financial assistance. You can also contact the school office at 507-334-7982 to meet with our administrator to discuss your financial need.
Families also have the option to participate in RaiseRight to help offset their tuition costs. Families can earn anywhere from $100 to well over $1,000 towards tuition each year using this program! You can use the gift cards on everything from groceries to vacations restaurants and clothing. Additional information on this program can be found here.
We encourage you to inquire at your member church about additional scholarships available for tuition at FLS. Many area churches help contribute towards tuition of their members to support them in their Christian education at FLS.
