Kindergarten: Mrs. Banks

Welcome to the Kindergarten Classroom!

My name is Erin Banks. I have been drawn to Kindergarten ever since I set my heart on teaching, and I am so very blessed that God has called me to teach it at FLS. The curiosity and eagerness that young children exhibit for learning about the world around them and about God’s love never ceases to amaze me. It is so fun to share in this excitement every day while building strong foundations and a love of learning for years to come.

I completed my education at Concordia University in St. Paul, where I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I am licensed to teach grades K-6. My husband and I live in Wanamingo, Minnesota with our two daughters, the oldest of who is in high school and youngest is currently a sixth grader at FLS. We also have a grown son, who is currently serving his second year in the United States Marine Corp. In my spare time, I love being outdoors and doing anything creative and crafty, especially puzzles!

“And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” 1 John 4:16
